Join us at the Annual Membership Meeting and O’Connor Lecture, October 15th, 7 p.m. at the Museum to learn about this little known ball player from Waterford.
Local baseball historian Frank Keetz will discuss the career and daily life of Walter Hammersley and his wife Edna. Their story has been culled from a group of letters and newspaper clippings that were found in a trunk.
Light refreshments will be served and admission is complimentary.
